Built in 2009 on 14th in the heart of DC, ChurchKey has firmly established itself as the east coast epicenter for connoisseurs of craft beer. ChurchKey was conceived and created out of love and passion for beer in all its facets. With a collection of 500 hand-picked labels meticulously curated by Beverage Director/ Partner Greg Engert, this ambitious undertaking is designed to celebrate the full spectrum of styles, traditions, regions and flavor possibilities. An unparalleled combination of small-batch brands, temp-controlled drafts, a deep selection of traditional glassware and a rare level of knowledge is further enhanced by the talent and wit from our kitchen.

Thursday, June 1st; 4pm


Join ChurchKey on Thursday, June 1st, as we welcome the founders of Coven Brewing. On this night, we will feature 9 drafts from this new brewery in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania! Having opened in April 2022, Caiti Sullivan and Trevor Greer just celebrated the one-year anniversary of their creation, Coven Brewing. During that time, they’ve garnered a name for brewing some of the best beer in the Pittsburgh area. Don’t miss your chance to try this special lineup of beers -- including New England-style IPAs alongside classic styles such as a Saison, an English Barleywine, and a hop-forward Cream Ale.There is no admission fee for this event.


Thursday, June 8th; 4pm


Join ChurchKey on Thursday, June 8th, as we welcome our friends from Untold Brewing. On this night, we will pour 10 drafts from this renowned brewery from Scituate, Massachusetts! Founded in October 2017 by Matt Elder, with Mike Dyer joining in March 2021, Untold Brewing produces clean, high-quality ales and lagers in a breadth of styles that reflect the seasons, their coastal Massachusetts community, and their past. We can’t wait to pour Matt & Mike’s special line-up of beers at ChurchKey, a bar Mike used to frequent when he lived down the street! There is no admission fee for this event.


Saturday, June 10th; 2:30-8pm


ChurchKey is celebrating the Capital Pride Parade on Saturday, June 10th by featuring some festive drinks on our downstairs patio! Starting at 2:30 pm, we'll be showcasing a delicious pouch cocktail from Show of Hands. NRG Spirits Director, Nick Farrel, crafted this drink, called PROUD, for the occasion and it's a perfect blend of Republic Restoratives Civic vodka, cranberry-infused Aperol, housemade orangecello and lime. We'll also be serving fresh cans of Itxas Harri Roxa Rosé, Bluejacket The Rainbow, DC Brau Pride Pils and Anxo Pride Cider. Swing through before AND after the Pride parade, which will head down 14th St. and swing west on Rhode Island right near our spot, to taste these delicious offerings.

Join ChurchKey on Saturday, June 17th, for the TRILLIUM TOTAL TAKEOVER – a pop-up can release and tap takeover featuring Trillium Brewing Company! You don’t want to miss this incredible lineup – featuring 7 beers on draft + 10 different cans to-go – from this legendary Northeast brewery! Trillium was founded in March 2013 by JC and Esther Tetreault. Their desire for the brewery was to create a lifestyle and experiences through the lens of a modern New England farmhouse-inspired brewery. They’ve grown to become one of the most successful craft breweries in the country, with 6 locations and over 300 employees. We’re excited to have the opportunity to once again feature their drafts and cans at ChurchKey!


- Cans go on sale online at 10:00 AM on Saturday, June 17th, via our retail Toast site .
- All orders, including walk-ups, will go through the Toast site.
- Pickups begin at 12:00 noon.
- All orders MUST be picked up the same day between 12:00 - 4:00 PM at ChurchKey.
- Orders that are not picked up are subject to be refunded and sold to other guests.
- All cans are for retail purchase only.
- Pricing and limits TBD.

Join ChurchKey, MistaForty and DJ Analyze as we once again host the Hip Hop & Craft Beer Bottle Share for Brothas & Craft Beer on Saturday, June 17th. Come celebrate diversity in craft beer while DJ Analyze spins some classic and golden era hip hop tracks. But that’s not all! This time we’re also featuring a special “guest”: Trillium Brewing Company! From 4 to 8 PM, you are invited to bring in some of your favorite craft beers from your bottle and can collection to share with the group! To add to the festivities, we will also be featuring outstanding draft beers from Trillium, including a special keg of Barrel-Aged Feed Your Soul that Mista Forty’s friends from Trillium & Weathered Souls sent down for the party!
