Join ChurchKey on Thursday, May 30th, for a book release and panel around “Modern Lager Beer: Techniques, Processes, and Recipes.” The discussion will feature Jack Hendler and Joe Connolly of Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers, and Mike Stein of Lost Lagers.

To celebrate the occasion, ChurchKey will feature six beers from Jack’s Abby, including two special lagers created in conjunction with their book’s release. Signed copies of their new book will also be available for purchase.

Jack’s Abby Craft Lagers, co-founded by Jack Hendler, specializes in traditional lagers brewed with old-world techniques. To this end, “Modern Lager Beer” is an exploration of all lager beer styles, their historical origins, and the detailed development and techniques used in their production today.

The panel will be moderated by Michael Stein, President of Lost Lagers, Washington DC's premier beverage research firm. Michael is also a Senior Staff Writer and podcaster at DCBeer Media.
